Have you ever felt a quiet (or maybe not so quiet) pull toward the stage?
Have you ever watched a singer and thought, “I wish it were me up there” but told yourself it was unrealistic, embarrassing, or "not for someone like you."
Maybe you performed once upon a time and miss it. Or maybe you've never done anything like this at all, but something inside you is lighting up about it.
Shine On was created for that pull.
This is your curtain call.
What matters most is not Fearlessness.
It's willingness.
Willingness to play out loud. You don't need experience, you need curiosity.
Willingness to be a little cringey. The messy middle is where the magic lives.
Willingness to take up space before you feel ready. That's the whole practice.
You want to have the experience of SHINING on stage and backed by a band.
You performed once and want to come back. Or you've never done this and you're finally ready.
The experience
Curate Your Piece
Choose, develop, and refine a cover or original song with support every step of the way. Together we will refine your voice, arrangement, and delivery.
Work with the Pros
We are blessed to have some of the best local professional musicians that will be backing you! Your band will consist of guitar, drums, and bass. We will prepare with the band during our week of rehearsals.
Collaborate
The aim is to have one solo song, and an additional song in collaboration or in support with harmonies with a fellow performer.
Step into the studio
Experience my favorite place in the world. Most of our sessions will be held at a professional studio located in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Work with the fear
Learn techniques for navigating stage fright and self-doubt. You will learn both nervous system regulation as well as nervous system expansion practices.
Perform Live
Take the stage at a real public showcase to be witnessed, supported, and to DO THE DANG THING!
